We recommend you to take advantage of the unique opportunity to watch humpback whales in their natural habitat. Early departure from the hotel. Today you will see one of the wonders of nature – the Humpback Whale. A trip on a special inflatable boat will allow watch these amazing animals up close. Imagine: a huge ten-story house suddenly came to life and floats in the sea, letting out fountains. Sometimes it jumps out of the water and falls back, raising tons of splashes into the air. Such a spectacle is worth a lot!
The Greek word “whale” is translated like a “monster”. But this description does not fit humpbacks in any way. Of course, it is difficult to call humpbacks handsome from a human point of view. But these majestic animals have such incredible charisma and cheerful disposition that they are not able to leave a person indifferent to their personality. They are the most playful of all cetaceans, flapping their tails and fins to foam the sea water. Their rotation in the water is like a dance. Despite their huge size, humpbacks jump out of the water with extraordinary ease like a candle, falling down raising tons of splashes. And all this is accompanied by complex melodic series of sounds. Some of these sounds are in the range we can hear. These sounds can be called songs. One such whale song can last up to 30 minutes. During mating games, humpbacks gently touch each other, gently rub their sides and poke their noses.
