Day 1 Arrival to Mexico City Airport

Welcome and transfer to hotel. Overnight Mexico City

Day 2 City Tour + Teotihuacan + Anthropology Museum Overnight Mexico City

Sight-seeing tour around the city center includes the inspection of the Socalo – the political center of the country, the Cathedral, the Presidential Palace with the famous murals of Mexican artist Diego Rivera. Also, you will pass on the most beautiful street in Mexico City – Paseo de la -Reforma, which is famous for a huge number of monuments and memorials. Then a visist to the National Museum of Anthropology – a treasur of Mexican culture and history, where a unique collection of works of art and everyday objects of the Olmecs, Aztecs and Maya, as well as the primitive tribes who inhabited the territory of Mexico. After the city tour you will discover the city “Where the men become gods” – Teotihuacan and see the famous pyramids of the Sun and the Moon. Full day excursion. Lunch is not included. Return to hotel. Rest.

Day 3 Mexico – Puebla – Veracruz Overnight Veracruz

According to the legend, angels appeared to one bishop, indicating the location of the future city. The “City of Angels” is a picturesque place guarded by the two active volcanoes Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl, whose snow-capped peaks rush high into the sky. The city will amaze you with magnificent colonial architecture, and historical monuments, such as the Chapel of Rosario, the monastery of Santo Domingo, and the City Council, protected by UNESCO. Churches and houses decorated with ceramic called “Talavera”, landscapes of surrounding mountains and volcanoes make this city a dream of lovers of beautiful photos and ancient architecture. Now, if your main weakness is gastronomy, this is the “gastronomic capital of Mexico”! For sure you must try the “mole poblano” a delicious sauce that combines chocolate, spices, almonds, hot chili peppers, and more that will amaze your palate. Also, you should try the famous stuffed chili pepper (chiles en nogada). After lunch, departure to the most important port of the country: Veracruz, famous for the culture of preparation of the divine drink: coffee. Accommodation in a 4 ⭐ hotel

Day 4 Veracruz – Villahermosa – La Venta – Palenque Overnight Palenque

After breakfast, you will go to the fertile state of Tabasco, where are grown: cacao, avocado, oranges, mangoes and much more. We will visit the exclusive outdoor museum “La Venta”, where you can find the monuments of the Olmec culture. Giant heads with Negroid features – this is one of the greatest mysteries of this civilization, which scientists have not yet discovered. The Olmec civilization is the oldest and most mysterious of all Mesoamerican and American cultures.
Later, transfer to the city of Palenque, located in the state of Chiapas. Accommodation in a 4 ⭐ hotel

Day 5 Palenque – Yaxchilan – Welib Ha Overnight Palenque

Breakfast. On the bank of the river Usumacinta, is the city of Yaxchilán. The only way to get to the old settlement is by boat on the river, which makes the trip especially fascinating. This archaeological site will amaze you with images of ritual scenes, frescoes, stelae and you will see a statue of the Governor sitting on a throne in the impenetrable jungle. You will have the opportunity to appreciate the beauty of the pristine nature that surrounds you during the tour and get close with howler monkeys and a large number of wonderful birds. You will also visit the picturesque Welib-Ha waterfall, where you could swim and refresh after a busy day. Back to the hotel.

Day 6 Palenque – Gulf Of Mexico – Campeche Overnight Campeche

The ruins of Palenque are one of the most important Mayan archaeological sites in Mexico. The ancient city is located among hills covered by the jungle and in the morning is immersed in a thick fog on the banks of the stream where you can often hear the roar of a jaguar and the howling howler monkeys. The combination of nature and ancient ruins gives this place a special energy. About the legends and tales of the mysterious city of Palenque the guide will tell you. After the visit, we will move to the city of Campeche where you can appreciate the beauty of its narrow colonial streets. You will also appreciate the fort that often defended the city from pirate attacks. Accommodation in a 4 ⭐ hotel.

Day 7 Campeche – Uxmal – Merida Overnight Merida

Breakfast. In the morning you will visit the majestic Uxmal, a city full of legends. For example, it is said that the Pyramid of the Fortuneteller was built in a single night, and that in the city still live the guardians of the forest: the “Aluxes”. You will visit The Quadrangle of the Nuns, The Governor’s Palace and the Ball Court. All this in Uxmal. Later, you will find yourself in the world of Spanish aristocracy and will visit ancient haciendas in the beautiful colonial city: Mérida. Accommodation in a 4 ⭐ hotel.

Day 8 Merida – Chichen Itza – Riviera Maya End Of Service

Breakfast. Departure to the center of the Yucatan Peninsula to explore one of the main points of interest – Chichen Itza. This ancient city is one of the new seven wonders of the world and has been recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The Castle, Temple of the Warriors, the largest ball court of Pok Ta Pok, Temple of the Jaguars, Observatory and many other buildings that will amaze you by its greatness. Afterwards, you can refresh yourself in a beautiful and crystalline cenote and you can enjoy the healing properties of these underground waters.
Transfer to Cancun / Riviera Maya accommodation, hotel according to previous reservation.
