DAY 3 | Cancun (131km | 2h aprox) Tulum (47km | 1h aprox) Coba (217km | 2.5h aprox) Merida.

After Breakfast In the first part of the excursion, you will visit the port city of Tulum, where the maritime and overland trade routes of the ancient Maya intersected. You will be amazed by the stunning view of the Caribbean coast. Despite its relatively small size, the city is known for the remarkable preservation of its monuments, allowing you to easily imagine the life of this largest Maya center of commerce.

Next, your journey will take you to the ancient Maya city of Coba, nestled in the tropical forest, where the tallest pyramid on the Yucatan Peninsula (42 meters) is located. You will ride bicycles or rickshaws through the untouched jungles, where ancient temples and stelae with Maya hieroglyphs are hidden.

Accommodation at the hotel and an evening stroll through the colonial city. You will surely be impressed by the Cathedral, City Hall, Governor’s House, Independence Square, San Ildefonso Cathedral, the most venerable in the Western Hemisphere, and Paseo de Montejo – the famous street of white mansions. DAY 4 | Merida – Colonial Hacienda (84km | 1.5h aprox) Uxmal (84km | 1.5h aprox) Merida.

Breakfast. In the morning, you will head to the majestic Uxmal, surrounded by numerous legends. According to legend, the Pyramid of the Magician was built in just one night, and the city is still inhabited by forest guardians – aluxes. You will be amazed by the beauty of the Governor’s Palace, the House of the Turtles, the Dovecote, and the Nunnery Quadrangle. Later, you will immerse yourself in the world of Spanish aristocrats by visiting an ancient hacienda. Return to Merida. Free time.

DAY 5 | Merida (120km | 1.5h aprox) Chichen Itza – Cenote (197km | 2.5h aprox) Cancun.

Breakfast. Departure to the peninsula’s center to visit the most unique and important center of Mayan culture – Chichen Itza. This ancient city is one of the Seven New Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The grand structures of the main pyramid, the Temple of Warriors, the world’s largest ball court, the Temple of the Jaguars, the Observatory, and hundreds of other temples will appear before you in their pristine form. Next, you will visit an incomparable cenote, where you can experience the healing properties of underground waters cherished by the Mayan Indians. Transfer to Cancun/Riviera Maya, accommodation at the hotel Beachscape Kin Ha 4* or similar.

DAY 6 | Cancun –  La Habana 

Transfer to the airport of Cancun. Flight to Habana (aprox 50 min) Arrival at José Martí Airport. Pick up according to flight schedule. Transfer to the Hotel Mistique Regis 4* or similar

DAY 7 | La Habana.

Breakfast. 09:00 Pick up at the Hotel. Tour of Metropolitan and Modern Havana that allows you to visit interesting places, recognized for their historical value: the former Presidential Palace, Central Park, Revolution Square (brief stop), University of Havana, National Capitol, and visit to Bar Floridita, the birthplace of the Daiquiri.

Visit to a Tobacco Factory. Walking tour of Old Havana including Old Square, Cathedral Square, Arms Square, San Francisco de Asis Square, visit to the city museum, Palacio de los Capitanes Generales, Hotel Ambos Mundos, and the famous restaurant La Bodeguita del Medio. Free time in the craft market. Return to the hotel.

DAY 8 | Habana – Vinales – Havana 

Breakfast. 07:30 Pick up at the hotel and departure to Pinar del Río. Walk through the Viñales Valley, declared a Cultural Landscape Protected by UNESCO and a National Natural Monument. Visit to the Veguero’s House, where you can enjoy a welcome cocktail and appreciate the tobacco plantations there. Visit to Los Jazmines Viewpoint, which offers a beautiful panoramic view of the Viñales Valley. Visit to the Cueva del Indio with a boat ride along the river inside.

Lunch at a local restaurant. Visit to the Mural de la Prehistoria, which shows the process of evolution of life in the Sierra de los Órganos, from mollusks to the first indigenous inhabitants of the area. Return to Havana.

DAY 9 | Habana – Guama – Varadero

Breakfast Pick up at 07.00 am at the Hotel. Departure to Guama with a stop in transit. Visit to the crocodile farm and boat trip through the Treasure Lagoon to the Guamá Tourist Center, visit to the Taino Village, an exact replica of a Cuban aboriginal settlement. Stop at Cueva de los Peces (Optional Entrance). Beach time at Caleta Buena. Visit to the Giron Museum and continuation of the trip to Varadero. Accommodation in Sol Plamera 4* or similar

DAY 10| Varadero – Habana  (2.5 hrs)

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport Habana.
