Day 1. Arrival to Mexico City
Meeting at the airport. Transfer and accommodation in hotel 4⭐. Free evening to relax.
Day 2. Mexico City-Teotihuacan-Basilica of the Virgin of Guadeloupe.
Sightseeing tour of the city center. Inspection of the Zocalo, the political center of the country, the Cathedral, and the Presidential Palace, with its famous murals by the famous Mexican artist Diego Rivera. Also, you will pass the most beautiful Street in Mexico City-Paseo de la Reforma, which is famous for its huge number of monuments and memorials.
Then you will discover the ” city, where people become gods- Teotihuacan and see the famous pyramids of the Sun and the moon.
During this tour you will visit the Basilica of the Virgin of Guadalupe (patroness of Mexico), governor legends and miracles …Excursion for the whole day. Lunch is not included.
Day 3. Mexico City-Panama City
Transfer to Mexico City Airport. Flight to Panama City. Arrival. Meeting at the airport with an English-speaking guide. Panama City Sightseeing Tour: Visit to the old Panama Viejo City and its ruins, the colonial quarter of Casco Antiguo, the modern part of Panama City, and the Panama Canal (depending on the remaining time). Accommodation at the hotel. Dinner in a restaurant with a folkloric show.
Day 4. Island of Contadora.
Breakfast at the hotel. Early departure from the hotel, transfer to the local airport of Albrook. Departure by helicopter to the island of Contadora, a stop for swimming and snorkeling.
Then a flight to Kuanidup island (San Blas Archipelago), a stop for swimming and snorkeling. Light lunch, based on seafood. Return to Panama City (the tour will last approximately 4-5 hours, it is possible to visit both archipelagos (Perla and San Blas) in a single day by helicopter. We used an R44 helicopter, 3 passengers + pilot. Transfer to the hotel in Panama City.
Day 5. David, Chiriquí province & Coffe Plantation.
Early departure from the hotel, transfer to the local airport of Albrook for a regular flight to David, Chiriquí province (flight of about 50 minutes).
Transfer to the picturesque town of Boquete, and tour to the coffee plantations.
Panamanian coffee has been recognized as the best gourmet coffee in the world for several years. Chiriquí is the province where most of the coffee plantations are located. You will enjoy a trip to coffee farms, and processing plants where you will see the processes of roasting and grain storage. Lunch at a local restaurant (not included in the price). Accommodation at Hotel Finca Lerida.
Day 6. Bocas del Toro.
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning walk – hiking. Transfer to Almirante (from where boats depart to Bocas del Toro), transfer by boat to Isla Colón (approximately 3.5 hours). On the way we will have a tour of a cacao farm: We will focus on a cocoa farm that grows 100% organic certified cocoa. A walk through the jungle will show us the surprisingly complex process of growing, fermenting, drying, frying, and processing grains. You will also learn how the environment and the animals around it “help” the material to become organic and what important role Indians play in cultivating, hand-harvesting, and creating unique chocolate. Transfer to the hotel in Bocas del Toro, accommodation.
Day 7. Cayo Zapatilla.
Breakfast at the hotel. We will sail to the island of Cayo Zapatilla- a virgin paradise with sandy beaches and azure water.
Day 8. Isla Pájaro (part of Bastimentos National Park).
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to Isla Pájaro (part of Bastimentos National Park). After swimming transfer to the airport and departure to Panama City (flight either at 15:30 or 18:00 hrs, flight about 50 minutes). Transfer to the hotel. Accomodation.
Day 9. Cayo Zapatilla.
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Tocumen International Airport. End of the program.
