Day 1. Cancun / Riviera Maya – Coba (180 km] – Chichen Itza – Cenote Ik Kil (115 km) – Merida (135 km)

The tour starts with a visit to the ancient Mayan city Coba, lost in the rainforest. You will climb the highest pyramid in the Yucatan Peninsula (42 meters), which offers a breathtaking view of the jungle, and ride a bicycle or rickshaw through the untouched jungle, where hidden ancient temples and steles with Maya hieroglyphs.

Then depart to the center of the peninsula for the inspection of the unique and important center of Mayan culture – Chichen Itza. This ancient city is one of the Seven New Wonders of the World and the World Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. Grandiose constructions main Pyramid of the Feathered Serpent Kukulkan, the Temple of Warriors, the world’s largest golf ball Pok Ta Pok, the Temple of the Jaguars, the Observatory, and hundreds of other temples brought to you in its original form. Next, you will visit unparalleled in its beauty of Cenote Ik-keel, where you can try on the healing properties of groundwater, so appreciated by the Mayan Indians. After your journey will be continued in the capital of Yucatan – Merida.

Accommodation in a hotel and an evening walk in the colonial city. You will certainly be impressed by the Cathedral, City Hall, Governor’s House, Independence Square, Cathedral of San Ildefonso, the most esteemed in the Western Hemisphere, Paseo de Montejo – the famous white mansions.

Day 2. Merida – Cocoa plantation – Uxmal (85 km) – Reserve pink flamingos in Celestun (130 km) -Merida.

Breakfast. The second day begins with a highlight of the program – a tour of the museum and cocoa plantations with tasting cocoa drinks, prepared according to ancient Mayan recipes. You will witness the true ritual ceremony performed by Indian shamans. Then you will go to the majestic Uxmal, where many still run numerous legends. So the pyramid-temple Wizard was built in just one night, and in the city still live forest guards – Alushes. You certainly will be amazed by the beauty of the Palace of the Governor, the House of the Turtles, the Pigeon yard, and the Convent. After Uxmal, you can get acquainted with the real miracle of nature – Celestun Biosphere Reserve. Here year-round home to thousands of species of animals and birds. A main advantage of the reserve is the huge population of pink flamingos in the Caribbean. In the evening return to Merida.

Day 3. Mérida – Ek Balam (185 km) – Valladolid – Tequilera – Riviera Maya / Cancún (80/150 km).

Breakfast. Your way lies beyond the town of “Black Jaguar” Ek Balam. This is one of the most mysterious places of the Mayan civilization, where until now archaeologists have made grand openings. Hidden in the mysterious jungle, the Indian ceremonial center for a long time was closed for tourists. That is why the finds discovered here, have changed the usual understanding of the Mayan culture. You will see the main pyramid Acropolis with the recently discovered secret room in the form of the mouth of a huge jaguar, Twin Buildings, an Observatory, and other buildings.

We will continue our way to the historic center of Valladolid, which still preserves the charm of the colonial era. Near the town is the tequila factory, where you will have the opportunity to taste the traditional drink of Mexico and see the process of its production.
