Day 1: ARRIVE AT YOUR HOTEL IN LIMA AFTER YOUR FLIGHT TO PERU!
We will be waiting for you when your international flight arrives in Lima. Look for the Qori Qilka sign with your name and a smile. We will take you to your 4-star hotel in the Miraflores district, check you in, and help you get settled.
Then, you can relax, shake off the feeling of a long flight, and enjoy a good night’s rest.
DAY 2: INTRODUCTION TO THE CITY OF KINGS
Today, you will explore Peru’s “City of Kings,” where you will visit the Plaza Mayor, home to the current presidential palace, the San Francisco Convent (including the underground catacombs!), and the Aliaga House, the oldest mansion in the Western Hemisphere, still owned and inhabited by the 17th generation of the Aliaga family. To end the tour, we’ll have a delicious lunch, and then you’ll have the afternoon free to explore at your own pace.
DAY 3: FLIGHT TO CUSCO, WELCOME AND INTRODUCTION
Today, you will be picked up and transferred to Lima’s airport for your flight to Cusco, where the Qori Quilka Adventures team will be waiting for you at the Cusco airport to take you to your hotel.
Upon arrival, we will welcome you warmly and provide a special introduction to the tour. We will begin with a welcoming circle and an offering to Pachamama (Mother Earth). Additionally, we will perform an energetic cleansing using condor feathers and tobacco. Our goal is for you to feel comfortable and excited to explore the rich culture and breathtaking landscapes of Cusco.
DAY 4: SACRED VALLEY, A DREAM DESTINATION
After picking you up from your hotel at 9:00 a.m., we will head to Chinchero. First, we will visit the Textile Center, where local weavers will teach us the ancient art of Andean textiles, followed by a tour of the archaeological site with well-preserved Inca altars.
We will continue to Moray, an agricultural experimentation center with concentric terraces that helped understand the different temperatures for crops.
After lunch in Urubamba, we will arrive at the majestic Ollantaytambo archaeological complex, which features impressive terraces, ceremonial centers, and fountains that whisper stories of ancient civilizations.
Finally, we will head to the Ollantaytambo station and take the train to Aguas Calientes.
DAY 5: MACHU PICCHU: THE CRYSTAL CITADEL – SACRED VALLEY
After a delicious breakfast, we will take a bus to the majestic Machu Picchu Citadel, known as the “Crystal Condor.” After a 30-minute journey, we will present our tickets and passports.
Our guide will take us to the best viewpoints for a tour of approximately 2 hours, highlighting the spiritual significance of the site for the Incas.
Then, we will return to Aguas Calientes for lunch and take the train back to Ollantaytambo, where a private bus will take us to our hotel.
DAY 6: WACHUMA CEREMONY AT THE HUMMINGBIRD SANCTUARY
Today, we have the honor of celebrating our Wachuma ceremony at the Hummingbird Sanctuary, located in the Sacred Valley.
This event offers a unique opportunity to deeply connect with spirituality and ancestral wisdom through the medicine of Wachuma, a sacred plant that has been used for generations in healing and self-discovery ceremonies.
Surrounded by stunning natural landscapes, the Hummingbird Sanctuary becomes the perfect setting for this transformative experience. Through the ceremony, we will seek to open our hearts and minds, allowing the energy of the place and the medicine of Wachuma to guide us on an inner journey of reflection and personal growth.
DAY 7: FAREWELL
Our private transport service will take you safely and comfortably from your hotel to the airport at the agreed time or based on your flight schedule.
